It’s that time of year when America hits the road with cameras in hand. Here are seven simple tips to help you capture photos that will help make a memorable custom scrapbook.
1. Keep your camera handy at all times.
2. Look inside your car for things to photograph.
3. The smallest pit stop can become a memorable and fun custom scrapbook moment.
4. Keep a battery recharger handy in your car (to plug into your cigarette lighter). You won’t want to be mid trip and have your camera battery die. Since our latest trip, I now have two camera batteries.
5. Plan rest stops at scenic locations.
6. Let road signs, store signage, and billboards add spunk and humor to your custom album.
7. Let your children or family members take pictures, too. Their outlook can add a whole new angle to your scrapbooking memories.
When I look back over the more than 1,600 summer photos I took to get the perfect photos for my custom scrapbooks, I know I have more than enough to choose from. Some are funny, others are classics, and some I just can’t put words to. So snap away on your roadtrips and create the custom album of your dreams.
